The site is run and maintained by the Mix It Up project team, a group of international artists, designers, academics, and programmers.

The Mix It Up project team is an entirely independent art collective. It has no affiliation with any political organization or government agency.

Mix It Up is a free dating service that connects people who are looking for love and friendships, and all you have to do is sign up and become our member. By using the Mix It Up website, you agree to be bound by these terms of use.

This agreement sets out the legally binding terms and privacy from using our site. The agreement may be modified by Mix It Up from time to time.

Eligibility Mix It Up allows only people who are 18 or older to register as members. By using this site, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capability to enter into this agreement and to abide by all the terms and conditions of this agreement.

Terms By using Mix It Up, (the "Website") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (this "Agreement"), whether or not you register as a member of Mix It Up ("Member").

If you wish to become a Member, please read these Terms of Use. If you object to anything in this Agreement or the Mix It Up Privacy Policy, do not use the Website. This Agreement will remain in full force and effect while you use the Website and/or are a member. Every time you access this Website you confirm your agreement with the terms whether or not you register as a member of Mix It Up.

Non Commercial Use by Members Mix It Up is for the personal use of individual members and cannot be used in connection with any commercial activities.

You cannot post your personal ad as a means to advertise a product and/or service. You cannot post an email address or URL on your profile to promote your services.

Content Posted on the Site

1. Mix It Up may review, edit, and delete any content, messages, photos that violate our terms and privacy of use. Any contents that we think might be offensive, illegal, or that might violate the rights of, or harm or threaten the safety of members will be removed.

2. You are solely responsible for the content that you publish or display on the Mix It Up.

Mix It Up does not verify the accuracy or truth of any information published by members. Be careful in dealing with other members.

3. By posting content on Mix It Up, you automatically grant and represent and warrant that you have the right to grant Mix It Up an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully paid, worldwide license to use, copy, perform, display, and distribute such information.

4. Mix It Up will remove all profiles that have illegal content that promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual; harasses or advocates harassment of another person; involves the transmission of “junk mail”, “chain letters”, or unsolicited mass mailing or “spamming”; promotes information that is false, misleading, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libelous.

6. You must use Mix It Up in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations.

7. You cannot include in your member profile any private information, including telephone numbers, addresses, or email addresses. 8. You cannot engage in advertising or solicitation of other members to buy or sell any products or services on Mix It Up.

Account and password details The Member is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their member name and password. Copyright Policy You may not post, distribute, or reproduce any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior written consent of the owner of such proprietary rights.

Disclaimers Mix It Up is not responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any user of the website. Under no circumstances will Mix It Up be responsible for any loss or damage, including personal injury or death, resulting from anyone’s use of the Website.

Harassment and disputes You may not harass any Member. You must agree to cease contacting any member who has requested you to cease. Should you wish, you have the option to ‘block’ any Member by selecting the appropriate option on your profile. ‘Blocked’ members will not be able to contact you via the site.

Mix It Up will not become involved in any domestic or private disputes online or offline between members, and does not provide any arbitration or settlement services should a dispute arise between members. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your interaction with other Members is lawful. Mix It Up advises you that there may be risks in dealing with members acting under false identities or with criminal intent. We recommend that you read our Helpful Tips. If you need to report an attack or a missing person, or if you feel that your safety is at immediate risk, we advise you to contact the police in your local area immediately, and then let Mix It Up know using our ‘report’ form.

Limitation on Liability Except in jurisdictions where such provisions are restricted, in no event will Mix It Up be liable to you or any third person for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages, including also lost profits arising from your use of the Website. Indemnity You agree to indemnify and hold Mix It Up, its project members, harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorney's fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Service in violation of this Agreement and/or arising from a breach of this Agreement and/or any breach of your representations and warranties set forth above.

Entire Agreement This agreement, accepted upon use of Mix It Up site and further affirmed by becoming a member of the Service, contains the entire agreement between you and Mix It Up, regarding the use of the Website.
